Character Basics
Character Name Lord Tíghearnán of Brackenblight ("Teer-nan") (just call him Tir) (family calls him Tíg / "teeg") Series/Canon OC
AU/PG/Canon Point None Cottage Moss House
Canon Details Sometimes, you create a character for a D&D one-shot campaign, but you go too hard on it, write a full novel-scope backstory overview, and then decide it would be waste not to play them a lot. So, here he is. The boy. He's still more-or-less a D&D character, but I'm not going to be regaining memories from any campaign, and I'll likely modify the world, rules, and magic so it's not necessarily recognizable. He's a Rogue/Ranger swarmkeeper.
Character Details
Age Appears in his mid 20s Pronouns He/they
Physical Stature Ten inch tall moth fairy Hair/Eyes One reddish-pink eye, one purple-blue, hair . . . purple? Ish?
Notable Traits HE IS A TEN INCH TALL MOTH FAIRY. He has four arms, fluffy antennae, pointy ears, a fluffy ruff collar, long draped wings, and looks slightly more insectoid/inhuman than his icons imply (eyes a little too big, limbs a little too narrow and long, etc). I'm taking some inspiration from this design for the wings, though his overall color scheme is dark black and purple with colorful accents. See also his original modified-picrew concept. Sharp pointy fangs, slit pupils, a soft low voice. His outfit is sort of a noble-militaristic cut, a cross between dark and functional and, well. Fluffy. Colorful. Wings.
15 Second Summary Tir is a younger son of an Unseelie Duchess—a little lordling without a lot of responsibilities, and with a lot of affectionately overbearing and powerful siblings. He was raised in the magical swampland of Brackenblight, and was always precociously sweet, inquisitive, and perceptive. Somehow, despite being something of a black sheep (white sheep?) of the family, he was universally doted on by the court of violent and manipulative fey. This is OUR precious little baby moth.

Tir developed a bit of a people-pleaser complex and lacked a lot of his own self-confidence and drive, so eventually the Duchess sent him out into the world with a retinue of nature spirits to protect him (his handmaidens, aka his "girls," aka the swarm of bloodthirsty elementals that are ride or die for him). The world at large was interesting, with plenty to learn and observe, but he always felt a sense of fear and uneasiness, and struggled with being taken seriously, or making connections.

Things went extra sideways when he gets separated from his girls and kidnapped to be part of some unhinged wizard's menagerie of fey creatures and monsters. Though he eventually managed to escape, various events and circumstances led to a consistent worsening of his mental health, self-perception, and moral view of the world . . . and led to what we are affectionately calling his "swamp witch era," where he and the girls took up a vengeful, protective hermitage in a misty swampland—until eventually, events coaxed him back out again to help protect people who needed it.

At his heart, Tir is a genuinely kind and sensitive—if slightly odd—person. He's lonely and a bit awkward in social situations, though he tries to make up for it with learned mannerisms and guesswork. He's extremely perceptive, insightful, and inquisitive, with a deep knowledge and specialty when it comes to plants and the natural world. He covers up his uncertainty and self-doubt with lordly manners—though those manners were learned among the Unseelie, so he can be a bit brash, mischievous, arrogant, and manipulative (just like his sisters taught him!!)

And, he is still a fae, so his sense of pride and vengeance run very strong. He's easily slighted, and slow to forget—he tries to swallow down too many of his emotions, but he is very small, and then the resentment just fills him right up :(
Abilities & Permissions
Abilities He's a roughly level 12 Ranger-Rogue multiclass, though he obviously won't start with most of those skills. He can fly, move around, and teleport pretty quickly, and is very good at moving stealthily and disengaging from situations. His strength and defense are, uh, really bad, so he makes up for it with speed and magic.
Permissions Pretty open to most things! I don't much like PvP in RP, but I do like romance :3 Ping me on Discord if there's anything you're unsure about!
Sensing Tir is a fey creature, and reads as such. He's heavily magical, and both older and stronger than he appears.
Memories & Skills
Memory Registry He'll be starting with some basic magic skills (cantrips, first level spells), but without his swarm (tragic, alone, etc). Remembers a little bit of his swamp witch era, when a dullahan comes to call.
